My candidacy is based on the principle that the justice system in Dallas County is not working the way it is supposed to. The fake drug scandal, the enormous backlog of cases and the failure of judges to administer justice in a fair and impartial manner are some of the reasons I decided to run. In short, the judges in Dallas County are doing things the way they have always been done and its not enough. Nothing is going to change unless the system changes from within.

If elected, I pledge to do my part in fixing what is broken. The first order of business is to work a full day, every day. I am not going to blame the problems of the County's administration of justice on faulty computers or the probation department. It starts with judicial accountability.

Judges must know what is going on in their courts and take the necessary steps to ensure that society is protected, cases are addressed quickly and efficiently and that everyone receives their day in court. It is imperative that Judges schedule their own dockets and maintain a list of how many defendants are incarcerated. Criminal Code of Procedure guidelines must be strictly construed. Defendants will not be allowed to "string" out the process in order to gain any unfair advantages. I am a firm believer in the maxim that "justice delayed is justice denied."
